Learn ways to master self-discipline here!
It is hard to master something you have no control of. It is like seeing someone on the streets and giving them instructions. They will definitely ignore you. There are more people with this problem than those who do not, and if you are tired of being the former, then 75 days will be a small price to pay to transform your life.
Being disciplined is no easy feat; the journey to putting mind over body can be exhausting. If you lack discipline, lack systems, lack attention to details, lack consistency and want to get control of your thoughts, your body and your life, then the #75 hard challenge is for you but it takes confidence, grit, and a belief in yourself. It takes fortitude, endurance, perseverance and a willingness to win.
However, according to the creator of this tactical guide for winning the war with yourself, these are not traits we are born with but are skills you can develop. If you choose to commit to making changes and following through on your commitment.
The #75-day challenge was created by Andy Frisella, an entrepreneur in the United States who spent 20 years figuring out how to master mental toughness and develop the skills needed to take complete control of life and be successful in anything and everything. He took everything he learnt about mental toughness, and formulated a program he called
According to Andy, it is not a physical challenge but a mental one, designed to develop all of the characteristics you lack in life that have landed you where you are. The physical transformations that occur are the by-products of the mental transformations you will make. It takes commitment to make changes and follow through.
The program is simple. There are five rules, unbending and set in stone, yet simple.
1. Follow a Nutrition Plan
2. Try Two Workouts a Day
3. Read 10 Pages of Self-Development Book
4. Drink a Gallon of Water Every Day
5. Have a Progress Picture Every Day
Looks simple, right? Wrong! Andy is of the opinion that the challenge is hard; hence the name, 75 Hard. There is another catch. If you miss one of the above-stated rules, you will have to begin again from Day 1 even if you are on Day 74. This bonus rule is set to ensure you realize that there are implications for every action and inaction. You are basically expected to be perfect for 75 days straight. If you are a perfectionist, this is a challenge I suggest you take. If you want to master or push yourself, this is your challenge.
