The Nigerian music superstar, Davido, took to social media to lambast the UK’s Daily Mail for tagging him an American following his Dubai hangout with Chelsea stars.

On Monday, photos of the DMW boss hanging out with Chelsea duo, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham, in Dubai went viral.

The Premier League stars, who are of Nigerian descent but represent England, were in the middle east on a much-needed vacation after getting some time off due to the first-ever winter break in the English top flight.

Davido, on his part, was in the Asian country for his elder brother's wedding which went down over the weekend.

The trio linked up and partied together and their hangout was reported by the Daily Mail, one of UK's biggest dailies.

But to the surprise of many, the Daily Mail editorial described Davido as an American singer, probably because he was born in the states and that seemed to infuriate the Afro-pop star.

Davido took to his Instagram page and called them out on their error, using some strong words. The father of three wrote: “F*ck yall!! I’m Nigerian H*e!!” along with a screenshot of the publication.
