Nigerian striker, Emmanuel David, has been signed on loan to Lithuanian top division club, FK Kauno Zalgiris.
The deal, which sees the 18-year-old move from Danish club, Fremad Amager, was confirmed in a statement on FK Kauno Zalgiris’ official website.
The quick and technical forward, who only joined Danish second-division side, Fremad, last summer was offered a contract by FK Kauno Zalgiris after impressing the coaching staff at a training camp in Cyprus.
He will now spend the rest of the 2019/2020 season with them and would hope to impress in that time.
"Emmanuel fits in very well with our concept. He maintains his intensity, can play at high speed and is capable of one-on-one play," FK Kauno Zalgiris manager, Rokas Garastas, said of the young Nigerian.
David, who is a product of the famous Ikon Allah Football Academy in Nigeria, made only one appearance for his parent club against Naestved Boldklub in November.
