Chelsea have confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Ajax to sign winger, Hakim Ziyech, this summer subject to the player agreeing to personal terms.
The 26-year-old will make the switch to Stamford Bridge for an initial £33.3m fee that could rise to £36.7m depending on add-ons.
Ziyech will remain with the Eredivisie champions for the rest of the season before joining up with Frank Lampard's side from the start of next season.
A statement on Chelsea's website read:
"Chelsea Football Club has reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer. The move is subject to the player agreeing to personal terms and he will remain at the Dutch club for the rest of the season.”
The Morocco international was one of Chelsea's top targets during the winter transfer window but remained with Ajax after the Amsterdam club refused to sell one of their key players mid-season.
Ziyech has spent the last four years with Ajax having joined the club from FC Twente in 2016. He had two and a half years left on his Ajax contract.
