Wilfred Ndidi is a doubt for Leicester City's weekend Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers as he is still struggling to recover from a knee injury.
Ndidi, who has missed some of the Foxes recent games, including their last before the winter break against Chelsea has been rated as a doubt again for the upcoming fixture.
In his press conference ahead of the game, Brendan Rodgers gave an update on the Nigerian International and confirmed that they would have to wait till the last moments to see if he makes it.
"Wilfred Ndidi is probably going to be doubtful for this game," Rodgers told reporters.
"He came back very, very quickly and played in the West Ham and Aston Villa games, but it was just a little reaction to his operation. We'll see how he is."
This news will not be a pleasing one for Gernot Rohr who would have been hoping for better news on the player less than six weeks before the Super Eagles face Sierra Leone in a doubleheader AFCON qualifying games.
Rohr will closely monitor the situation in the following weeks to know if he would include him on the roster for the games.
