Manchester United fans have debuted a new chant which was composed in honour of forward, Odion Ighalo, who joined the club in January.

The Nigerian moved to the Theatre of Dreams from Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua, on the final day of the European winter transfer market.

Since his arrival, the former Super Eagles forward has made three appearances, making his debut as a late substitute in United's win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before making another cameo appearance against Club Brugge in last week's Europa League round 32 1st leg tie in Belgium.

The 30-year-old made his home debut at Old Trafford against his former team, Watford, when he came on in the last 15 minutes for fellow striker, Anthony Martial.

Ighalo almost got a goal in the game after rounding Ben Foster but his effort was cleared off the line by a Watford defender.

When he was introduced, the fans started singing a song which had been composed for him just like they do for all of their favourite players.

Below is a screenshot of the lyrics of the chants dedicated to the Nigerian.

Meanwhile, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has revealed that the striker has settled in well with his teammates and is showing good signs in training.

"He's a box striker, he's a goalscorer, we've already seen in training. He really knows his craft.

"He's a fantastic professional and human being, and he's already added to the squad. The boys have learnt his song and already taken to him."
