Being Grounded In The Bible Doesn’t Mean You Know God - Timi Dakolo

Famous Nigerian singer and father of three, Timi Dakolo, has said what he thinks about people who appear to be well-versed in the scriptures and lead in singing praises in church.

The music star shared his opinion in a recent post on Instagram.

Citing the example of Saul of Tarsus before he became the Apostle Paul, Dakolo stated that it was possible to be well-grounded in the verses of the Bible and still not know God.

The music star shared a screenshot of a tweet, which read:

"It is possible to know the Bible from cover to cover, quote the Bible from Genesis to revelation. Bible chapters and verses are on the tip of your tongues but still don't know God and sadly never experienced Him."

He followed it up with the caption:

"A lot of People think having Goosebumps when someone is singing or Preaching is the presence of God.

“A classic Example is Saul of tarsus before he became Paul. He knew the Bible (law) not God."
