An Abia State-based pastor, Kingsley Innocent, popularly known as Talkanado, has declared Nigeria coronavirus free in spite of the government’s report of 30 confirmed cases so far.

According to the clergyman, who is the General Overseer of Bible Believing Mission, the virus is not in Nigeria, as it cannot survive because of the "corrosive anointing" in the land and that anytime it is genuinely confirmed in Nigeria, it will stop all over the world.

Backing up his claim, the pastor said that the unwillingness of the government to disclose the identity of the Italian man who was the index case of the disease was proof that there is no such case.

He said the plan by some government officials is to divert the 620 million naira meant to combat coronavirus in the country.

It is unknown if the video was from his church service yesterday or a previous date.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State government and some other states have put a restriction on public gatherings, including religious ones, for the time being, while former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has confirmed that his son has contracted the virus.
