Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, and his beauty queen wife, Amine Gulse, have welcomed their first child together.
The German superstar took to social media to celebrate the arrival of their daughter who was born on Monday.
Sharing a black and white family photo of himself, his wife and their newborn while on lockdown, the attacking midfielder wrote an appreciation message to God in Turkish language, which translates to:
"Thank God our daughter 'Eda' was born healthy. God willing us to be a good son to his environment and all humanity."
Ozil and Gulse got married last year in Turkey in an event that had Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and other dignitaries in attendance.
Last year, Ozil and his wife, along with Arsenal teammate, Sead Kolasinac, were targeted by armed robbers while they sat in their car in London.
The former Miss Turkey was three months pregnant when the incident occurred in London.
Since announcing the news, Ozil's Arsenal teammates, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Shkodran Mustafi, Kolasinac, and other friends have sent their best wishes to the new parents.
