Recovering COVID-19 patients in Yaba, Lagos, have created an awareness video detailing their experiences and also warning those out there to be careful.
In a video shared by popular digital health techie, Dr Chioma Nwakanma, the patients were seen carrying placards with different inscriptions on them.
One of the placards read: "Health workers also have families but they can't stay home. Please stay home, stay alive.
Another read: "It's as real as it gets people!!! We are living through this but we are confident we will overcome together!!! Kudos to Lagos and its amazing team!!!”
A foreigner, who is also receiving treatment for the virus in the country, wrote: "Hey people, we are foreigners here and we are begging you to start home for your relatives' sake.”
Captioning the video, Dr Nwakanma who is known as @DrZobo wrote: "Lagos COVID Survivors have a message for us! This made me smile😊.
"Great gang in high spirit. Shout out to all care-givers and workers in the Yaba Infectious Disease Hospital and all over Nigeria. We celebrate you all! Retweet this one to replace fear with Faith💪🏽."
