Big Brother Naija is set for July 2020, and as we prepare for another season of one of the biggest reality TV shows we know, it's best to consider the things that are worthy of note before the cameras start rolling.

1. It starts July 2020

Drumroll! The fifth edition of your favourite reality TV show begins in July, and that is in just a little over a month. Are you ready for the excitement promised by the organisers of the show, Multichoice?

2. Auditions are free and strictly online

This year's auditions are different from what we have known them to be. There will be no stampeding for a chance to audition. You are expected to fill the registration form on and upload a two-minute video of yourself stating why you deserve to be in the Big Brother house. And like the previous seasons, auditioning for a spot on the show is absolutely free.

3. Auditions are open to contestants of 21 years and above

No different from the past BBNaija seasons, auditions are open to anyone who is 21 years by June 1, 2020, and has a valid passport. So, if you are 21 or above, and have got what it takes to be a contestant on the show, try your luck. This might be your one chance at fame.
