Day 17: My Quarantine Diary

Read the daily, non-fictional tales of a young, unmarried Nigerian woman who lives in Lagos at this time.

I have gone MIA for too long. My excuses are so lame, I would much rather not share them. Instead, I apologise for my long absence and hope that we can continue from where we stopped.

But I must warn you, my quarantine diary is about to come to an end. We had fun while it lasted, right? I have divulged almost everything about my life with strangers.

Do I regret it? Absolutely not! I am most glad for those times you stopped to read - or listen. Yes, listen! I felt like I was talking to you all.

I am glad, too, that I got to let it all out - my fears, hopes, and all. Thank you for being there.

Things are almost beginning to return to normal, although there is still a global pandemic and we all have to stay safe.

I will return to work shortly; hence, the reason for ending this diary.

If you would like me to continue, though, you can leave a comment in the comment box at the end of this post. We can call it some other name besides 'My Quarantine Diary.'

I will return tomorrow with all the juicy details of my life that you have missed these past few days.

But till then, it's lots of love from me,
