Nigeria has recorded 681 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, reports the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The new cases, according to the report, were recorded in 17 states, including Lagos (345), Rivers (51), Ogun (48), Gombe (47), Oyo (36), Imo (31), Delta (28), Kano (23), Bauchi (18), Edo (12), Katsina (12), Kaduna (9), Anambra (7), Jigawa (5), Kebbi (4), Ondo (4), and Nasarawa (1).
This brings the total number of cases in the country to 14,554, with 387 deaths and 4,494 now discharged.
Lagos (6,611), the FCT (1,097), and Kano (1,048) remain the top three states in the country with the highest number of cases in the country. Taraba (18), Benue (13) and Kogi (3) have recorded the lowest number of cases so far.
