The sacked Presidential candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Donald Duke has said he would appeal the judgment of his removal.
A High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja on Friday declared Jerry Gana, a former minister as the presidential candidate of SDP.
Donald Duke became the presidential candidate of SDP after the primary election held on October 6, 2018.
Jerry Gana after Duke’s victory, headed to the court to challenge the zoning and rotation formula of the party constitution.
After several deliberations, the court on Friday declared Gana winner of the Presidential primary election conducted in October.
He also declared Duke’s vote 812 as null and void. And asked the party to forward Gana’s name to INEC as the party’s presidential candidate.
He also ordered Duke to stop parading himself as the Presidential candidate of the party.
