The palace of the Olugbo of Ugboland, Oba Fredrick Enitiolorunda Obateru Akinruntan better known as Obat is in celebration.
Today, November 11, 2018, marks the 9th-year Obat was installed as the paramount ruler and prescribed authority of Ugboland in Ilaje riverine area of Ondo State.
As expected, eminent personalities such as politicians, royal fathers across Yoruba land will throng the Ugbo’s palace today, to celebrate with the oil magnate and CEO of Obat Oil.
Since Obat became the ruler of Ugboland, he has ensured his people live a better life.
Furthermore, he initiated free health care, adequate feeding, settled communal crisis and given scholarships to Ilaje sons and daughters.
Obat Petroleum is one of the formidable oil and gas firms in Nigeria. Today, the company has more than 50 gas stations across the country.
Obat owns one of the largest tank farms in Africa, modern storage facility able to store 65 million petroleum products.
One of his sons, Prince Akinfemiwa Akinruntan is the managing director of the company.
