Former Northern lawmaker, Dr. Junaid Mohammed has quit the race as the running mate of Donald Duke, the Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Pary (SDP).
Mohammed stepped down from the race following several crises rocking the party.
Junaid said he has written the National chairman of the party, Chief Olu Falae and his running mate, Donald Duke.
“It is true I quit from the race because of many problems in the party.
“And it is a personal decision but I am still a member of the party”. Junaid added.
Junaid is known as one of the critics of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Asked if he would support Buhari after quitting the race, the former lawmaker responded saying he would never do such.
