I decided to go to the palms with the sole intention of finding things that interest me, and I chose the shoprite store. Honestly, when I went in, I had no idea what to expect, I mean, I go to shoprite frequently but then, I’ve never really paid attention to the items on sale in the different aisle, so I decided to not just head to the food isle (Which is where I spend most of my time to be honest). But to walk down all the aisles and look at the items and single out things that struck me as interesting. I hope you agree.
I’m a DIY freak. I love DIY videos and tutorials and once I stumbled on a post on how to organise your jewellery, but the items they used were scarce, I feared I wont find them in Nigeria, until I stumbled across this in shoprite. The ceramic hand can be used to stack your rings, chains and bangles and that clock also! It has ends that could hang jewelleries too. Best part is, they’re not so expensive.
Yes I love to read magazines, and from what I hear, I got the memo late. They always have the editions of vogue, cosmo and other interesting foreign magazines, and there I was downloading and paying to read them online.
Don’t look so confused, I get a lot of these brooms, and they end up dislodging into different parts. I stumbled on these and on close inspection, they looked really sturdy. So if you’re as fed up as I am, there’s a solution in shoprite. LOL.
Your fashion first aid kit has been right under your nose! I loved this beautiful sewing kit and packs of needles, tacks, safety pins and fashion fixes, all in one rack. Yay!!!
Hello naturalistas!! You won’t believe what aisle I found these spray bottles- The pet food and supplies isle!! I was stumped. We all know that spraying your natural hair is very important for hair growth so this is a no brainer, I’m not going to spell it out to you. And there I was using old perfume bottles to spray your hair.
Why do we still store our milk in their tins and refill and refill until the rim turns black. I found these lovely labeled jars! They’re so cool. Let’s ditch the habit of leaving beverages in their tins and put them in pretty aesthetic labeled jars. My dad’s sold on the idea already.
I found these non stick cake and muffin pans very interesting. I don’t know about you but I’ve had terrible experiences with cake pans when I’m following online tutorials. Just when I can smell a seemingly genius cake, half the final product is on the tray, and the other ugly half is just siting desolately on the bottom of the pans. Well problem solved!
I saw these knife sharpeners there and I remembered this advert that said to swipe the knives through and you’ll get a super sharp knife. Please who can attest to this o. I was excited to see it at shoprite, and I will surely return to put it’s testimonies to the test. Has anyone used this before?
This is going to be a new habit of mine. I’ll find more items from different stores and share with you! But what do you think of my findings?
