#TheConversation held its 3rd edition on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Ibadan.
The brainchild of Joy Isi Bewaji, The Conversation had its beginning in May with the first edition in Lagos, amongst men and women who addressed patriarchy, sexism and gender induced poverty issues.
The team, sponsored by Nneoma Albert-Benson of BEFA Women and Child Care Foundation, organised a second edition at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The Ibadan edition had fresh voices- a team of intellectual writers and feminists as headliners: Pearl Osibu, Ayodele Olofintuade, Bunmi Familoni and Abimbola Adelakun.
The topic: ‘Understanding Patriarchy’ emphasise the many issues of misogyny, sexism and discrimination argued in favour or against privileges and oppression.
