Snoop Dog is a consummate marijuana smoker
The “Gin and Juice” singer is known as an unofficial representative of cannabis. He has admitted to smoking up to 80 times a day, it is so crazy that his habit made headlines in 2014 when an episode of his online show claimed, he smoked in a White House bathroom. Snoop Dog has made attempts to quit but it is not just in his DNA. (We agree with you brother, hehe.)
Snoop Dog married the same woman twice
Snoop married his high school sweetheart, Shante Taylor in 1997. Seven years later Snoop filed for divorce from Taylor, citing irreconcilable differences. However, the couple renewed their wedding vows on January 12, 2008. They have 3 sons together and still very much married.
Snoop is medically certified to smoke
Burst your brain! Snoop was certified by doctors to smoke medical cannabis to treat his migraine since 2007. Exactly! That’s why he puffs away!
His nickname’s origin
Snoop does not bear the “Dogg” because he owns a Chihuahua, His nickname was born because of his appearance. His parents would call their son Snoopy but he thought, “I got the looks, why not?”
He initially started his career as Snoop Doggy Dogg, briefly, Snoop Lion when he converted to reggae in 2012, He’s also gone by the alter egos of Snoopzilla, DJ Snoopadelic and Snoop Todd.
It is almost impossible for Snoop to be legally correct
He has been in and out of prison especially for possession of drugs and sales, traffic violation, possession of a weapon and assault amongst others. He has been banned from some country because of this behaviour. In 1993, Snoop Dogg was arrested in connection with the death of Phillip Woldermariam but he was acquitted.
The Australian government banned the rapper in 2007 on character grounds, citing his extensive criminal past but the ban was uplifted in 2008. He was also denied a visa to the U.K. in 2007 after getting into a brawl with airport security. Lastly, he was banned for two years from Norway for entering the country with eight grams of marijuana.
