10 Emotions We Feel But Can’t Explain!

Yvonne Williams

Ever feel like squeezing the life out of your alarm every morning, relaxing in bed all day long doing absolutely nothing? Do you sometimes feel out of place even while in the midst of your buddies? Well what do you know, there’re terms for these emotions! Cool huh? Check out ten emotions we often feel but somehow find it difficult to explain to others:

Dysania – “The state of finding it hard to get out of bed in the morning.”

Adronitis – “Frustration with how long it takes to get to know someone.”

Liberosis – “The desire to care less about things.”

Jouska – “A hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head.”

Rubatosis – “The unsettling awareness of your own heartbeat.”

Monachopsis – “The subtle but persistent feeling of being out of place.”

Sehnsucht –  “The longing in the heart for we know not what.”

Nyctophilia – “Finding comfort in the darkness.”

Finifugal – “Wanting to prolong the final moments of a story, relationship, or some other journey.”

Gnasche – The intense desire to bite deeply into the forearm of someone you love.

So next time you get caught up with these emotions, instead of spilling out words which hardly seem to communicate how you’re feeling, use these term but make sure you hand them a dictionary. lol
