Happenings

By Kikelomo Onigbanjo

Yes! Another week is here!

This morning was too serious, but Nigerians play too much; they can turn everything to play…

On Mondays, the crowd at the bus stop is usually massive and today was not an exception

One had to fight World War III to get a seat

The conductors charged double but we had no choice than to enter it like that

And there was serious traffic on the Third Mainland Bridge, moving at snail speed

Our driver and another driver were dragging for a space; they were colliding and hitting each other side by side, behaving like two cows

Later they got down and started fighting

They injured all the people that came to separate them

When they got tired of fighting, they got back into their respective buses and we moved

I think they became embarrassed because we were all watching them and enjoying ourselves

Most people probably got to work late because of this, but the entertainment was a good one though…

*sighs* Mondays are always too extra!
