Whoop! Whoop! Celebrating Entertainment Mogul Sean Combs, Plus, Matthew McConaughey

Today we celebrate an entertainment magnate/ business mogul Sean Diddy Combs, aka P. Daddy as he clocks 47! (make that an unbelievable 47, the dude still looks HOT!)

Known as one of rap’s early enterprising magnates with an empire including fragrances, beverages and a cable network, clothing design – Sean John Clothing, and restaurant management, Sean has no doubt made a name for himself both in the entertainment and business worlds.

The superstar who ruled the airwaves throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, started his career as the director of A&R at Uptown Records. In 1992, Sean founded the Bad Boy label.

The Grammy award winning artiste was integral in launching the careers of Mary J. Blige and Jodeci, including Mariah Carey,  Boyz II Men, Lil’ Kim and more.

His debut album, No Way Out, went 7x platinum, not forgetting his mega hit song “I’ll Be Missing You,” which became a #1 Billboard hit.

Forbes magazine ranked him the richest man in hip-hop in 2013.

Combs over time has also become an established actor and executive producer in both film and television, appearing in more than a dozen films, including “A Raisin in the Sun,” for which he won an NAACP Award for Best Actor; partnering on TV series such as “Making the Band II;” and executive-producing the Academy Award-winning documentary “Undefeated” and the Academy Award-nominated “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”

In 2013, he launched his own music television network, REVOLT. Combs recently established REVOLT Films, a multi-faceted production company .

In 1994, he had his first son, Justin Combs, with his ex-girlfriend, hip-hop fashion stylist Misa Hylton-Brim; he had his second son, Christian Casey Combs, with his girlfriend, actress and model Kim Porter. He also has three daughters named D’Lila, Chance and Jessie.

He played a lawyer in the film A Time To Kill, where he defended the character played by Samuel L. Jackson.

He dated actress Sandra Bullock from 1996 to 1998. He married model Camila Alves in 2012. He has two sons named Livingston and Levi and a daughter named Vida.
