We celebrate two outstanding Pop stars born on this special day; Dido and Annie Lennox

The star who rose to fame in the 90s married Rohan Gavin and they had one child together.
Eminem helped introduce her to a U.S. audience with his single, “Stan,” as he used a sample from her song “Thank You” on the track.
Dido a two time Grammy nominee, six time MTV Video Music Award nominee and a three time MTV Europe Music Award nominee has released four full-length albums and nineteen singles.
Dido is also an established songwriter and has also written numerous songs for popular television series such as Top of the Pops (2000), Dawson’s Creek (2003), Emmerdale (2003), Smallville (2005) and Grey’s Anatomy (2009), just to name a few
Dido who turns 45 has not really been in the spotlight recently.
The award winning songstress has sold over eighty million albums worldwide. Annie is known for her tracks; Why, Don’t Let it Bring You Down, Walking on.
She married Radha Raman in 1984; after their divorce in 1985, she married Uri Fruchtmann in 1988 followed by her marriage to Mitch Besser in 2012. She has two daughters named Tali and Lola and a son named Daniel.
She did a song for the last Lord of the Rings movie, which starred Elijah Wood.
She turns 62.
