10 Natural Remedies For Vaginal Infections

Vaginal infection is common among women, and it can be caused by so many factors, including unprotected sex, lack of care of the vagina, etc. Below are natural remedies for vaginal infections.

1.  Don't wear pant to bed

Don't wear underwear to bed. Expose your private part to a little air and breeze.

2. Change your underwear always

Whenever you are at home, try as much as possible to change your pant twice or thrice daily. This will keep your private part neat and fresh.

3.  Spread your underwear outside

Spread your underwear under the sun every two days. If you don't want to spread them outside, iron them before wearing.

4.  Take a lot of fruits

Fruits are good for the body. They are rich in vitamins and minerals. Try as much as possible to eat enough fruits in a day in order to help you fight infection and also boost your immune system.

5. Wash your vagina

Make sure you wash your vagina with clean water only and avoid douching, using soap, vaginal wash and so on. They can cause vaginal cancer and vaginal dryness.

6. Have regular sex

As funny as it might sound, regular lovemaking can prevent you from having vaginal infections. If you want to have unprotected sex, make sure you know your partner’s status.

7.  Avoid regular consumption of antibiotics

Too much antibiotics is not good for the body. Reduce your intake of antibiotics or use as prescribed by the doctor anytime you are treating an infection.

8. Learn the proper way to clean your vagina

Each time you visit the toilet, always wipe your vagina from the front to the back in order not to spread bacteria, parasite, virus, and  fungi into the vagina.

9. Drink enough water

Always drink enough water. It will help you flush every unwanted substance that has accumulated in the system.

10. Avoid fingering during intercourse

Don't allow you partner finger you except he has washed his hands and cleaned his nails. If he cannot do this, then forget about it. Your partner can transfer bacteria, fungi, and parasite from his nails to your private part.
