Margaret Solace

Breakfast is the first meal of the day and it’s the most important meal of the day. It shouldn’t be ignored no matter how stressed and late we find ourselves. It improves our metabolism. Breakfast should be light. Heavy foods drag us down and often make us dizzy and tired throughout the day and you want to avoid that. Here are three meals you can make for breakfast in 30 minutes or even less.

Bright Sandwich

The name, bright, is inspired by lots of vegetables in this meal. It is not only colourful, it is nutritious, too. You will need 1 avocado, 2 hard boiled eggs, green and red peppers, mayonnaise, butter, salt to taste, shredded chicken breasts and soft sliced bread.

Wash and slice the vegtables. Cut and mash the avocados in a bowl, pour the green and red vegetables, the chicken, mayonnaise and salt to taste and mix well till it’s all incorporated. Get your sliced bread, spread butter and the mix on each. Add layers of mixed sandwich and cut into desired shapes.

Tomato Omelette

The ingredients of tomato omelette include, a big tomato, onion, 2-3 eggs and butter.

Wash and slice the tomato and onions separately and beat the eggs in another bowl. Heat up the frying pan and add a little butter, fry the onions for a few minutes and add the tomatoes to fry for some minutes. Pour the mix in the egg and stir well. Heat up the frying pan again with butter and slowly pour the egg mix in it on a low heat. Fry and flip to one side after some minutes or till you see it properly fried, pour the remaining mix and do the same till it’s finished.

Egg Custard

You are going to need 2-3 eggs, a cup of milk, sugar and enough water to steam.

Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the sugar and milk. Mix well to avoid lumps. Get your containers and a pot of water on heat. Pour your mix into the containers but note that your containers are okay for the heat and your health. Place the containers in the steaming water and steam for a few minutes. Set them to cool and you are good to go. Enjoy!
