Former governor of Bayelsa state, Timipre Sylva, has cautioned Nigerians against voting for President Goodluck Jonathan if they truly wanted to see a Nigeria of their dream.
Sylva stated categorically that Jonathan does not deserve a second term, having failed woefully in almost six years he had been in the saddle as the head of the PDP- led federal government.
Speaking to newsmen on a television programme monitored in Lagos yesterday, the former governor lamented the state of the country’s economy under the president saying everything was in shambles.
Sylva wondered why Nigeria could fail in the fight against Boko Haram, which has rendered parts of the country almost useless and even formed a parallel government.
He also said Jonathan had sinned against the country and its people for weakening the country’s currency.
“A dollar now exchanges for between 190 and N200 since the Central Bank of Nigeria devalued the naira,” he said.
