This is contained in NPA’s daily publication, ‘Shipping Position,’ which was made available to newsmen in Lagos.
According to the publication, 11 of the ships waiting to berth are laden with petroleum products like petrol, bulk gas, aviation fuel and diesel.

It said the remaining nine ships contained rice in bags, crude palm oil and general cargo.

The document stated that NPA was expecting 31 ships to sail into the Lagos ports from Feb. 9 to Feb. 22.
It indicated that 14 of the expected ships would sail in with containers, while two other ships would come in with general cargo.

The document said that the remaining 15 ships would sail in with rice, vehicles, bulk sugar, crude palm oil, bulk gypsum, tug boat, buckwheat, kerosene and base oil.
