OPC passes vote-of-confidence in Fasehun

The Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, has passed a vote-of-confidence in its Founder and President, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, saying there was no crisis in the organisation.

The group also dissociated itself from Fasehun’s purported expulsion by a group, which claimed to have appointed new leaders to run its affairs.

In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Sylvester Eweka, the group described Fasehun’s removal as “a joke taken too far,” adding that Dr. Fasehun remained the founder and substantive President of OPC worldwide.

The OPC, however said plans at denigrating the leader was a concoction of troublemakers, who were bent on treading the path of perdition.
