The Federal Secretariat in Abuja, which houses major government offices, is currently on fire.
The inferno is said to have started from the sixth floor of the building, where the Federal Ministry of Education is located, and has now reportedly spread to the seventh and eight floors.
Some workers have managed to escape from the building while others are said to still be trapped within.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
