The All Progressives Congress (APC) has set up an assessment team to monitor the implementation of the party’s manifesto as well as other promises it made to the electorate during the campaigns by President Muhammadu Buhari, reports Thisday.
The assessment team will also serve as an advisory committee to the National Chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun.
The party said the team will be made up of mainly technocrats.
Lai Mohammed, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, who disclosed this on Tuesday said the team will monitor and track how the government is faring and also make suggestions to government.
Muhammed, said the setting up of the assessment team was to ensure that the government meets regularly with stakeholders in the critical sectors in the country.
