Rotimi Amaechi
Former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, who is currently being nominated for ministerial position by President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly left the Senate due to some legislative discrepancy.
Senate President Bukola Saraki had announced that Amaechi is amongst the 10 nominees to be screened today.
This development may not have been unconnected with Mr. Amaechi’s reported failure to secure the endorsement of at least 2 of the 3 senators from his state.
