Senate President Bukola Saraki has thanked Nigerians for their support in sending questions and complains over the ongoing screening exercise of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees.
The senator said this in a Twitter update this morning.
Saraki, who has come under heavy criticisms over the way and manner with which himself and his colleagues handled the first 10 nominees that received the upper chamber’s clearance yesterday, wrote: “Thank you for the feedback on the #MinisterialScreening. All suggestions will be put into consideration as we go into the 2nd day @NGRSenate.”
Nigerians complained that the nominees were not really placed on hot seat, as against what Saraki promised prior to the commencement of the exercise.
