Popular Yoruba Actor, Sikiru Adeshina A.k.a ‘Arakandudu’ is Dead

The Nigerian movie industry has been thrown into another round of mourning as a veteran actor, Sikiru Adeshina popularly known as Arakangudu has been reported dead.

According to reports, the versatile actor cum musician,  died yesterday, February 8, 2016 in Kaduna State, after suffering from heart attack.

His remains has been moved to his home town in Osogbo, capital of Osun State, for burial today.

For several years, the well-built and talented actor was known for his mastery of the roles of a herbalist and armed robber in most Yoruba movies.

At a point in his career he went off the movie scene, to focus on Fuji music.

The versatile actor bounced back with his role in a recent movie titled “Ayaba Oosa” written and produced by Yetunde Abubakry and directed by Okiki Afolayan. It was released in June 2015.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
