Pregnant teen killed while posing for photos on train tracks

A pregnant teenager by the name Fredzania has died after being hit by a train while allegedly posing for photos on the tracks.

According to the girl’s mother, the teen who attended Blinn College in Bryan wanted to put her education on hold to start modelling, hence the photoshoot on the train tracks in a bid to launch her modeling career, on Friday.

Unfortunately, the photoshoot went bad as the 19 years old was who was standing between two sets of tracks reportedly watched train approach on the BNSF track unaware a Union Pacific vehicle was heading towards her. She tried to avoid the train and cross the tracks, but was hit by the other vehicle, according to witnesses.

She was rushed to a local hospital but sadly died before she arrived.

Her devastated fiancée and the father of the unborn child Darnell Chatman, 25 told The Eagle newspaper that she had called him two weeks ago to break the news.

He said: “She said ‘you’re going to be a dad again’.”

He also added “Zanie had the most beautiful smile, I believe she would want everyone to know what a kind and caring person she is.”

Fredzania who is also a hair and makeup professional graduated from Navasota High School in 2015 where she had scholarships for being a star volleyball player. The funeral service for Fredzania will be held on Saturday in Brosig Auditorium in Navasota. A graveside service will also hold at Oakland Cemetery.Tributes have since been flooding in for the “caring” teenager and talented athlete.

A GoFundMe page however has been set up to raise money for her funeral.
