Exxon Mobil staff, today, converged at Mobil House, Bishop Abayode Cole, Victoria Island, to protest job insecurity and racism. The workers say expatriates are taking over Nigerian jobs and are being paid $2,000 per day, an amount equivalent to what is paid to 20 Nigerians.
The union had a meeting with the management, and depending on the outcome, the protest may continue tomorrow.
