Four Feared killed in Lagos Train Accident
No fewer than four persons on Tuesday morning lost their lives after a train crushed a tricycle in Lagos.
The unfortunate incident occurred earlier this morning at Toyin in Iju Ishaga area of Lagos, a minute after the train left Oke Aro terminal.
According to an eyewitness, the tricycle with four passengers had attempted to cross the railway line when it got trapped and was eventually crushed by the Abule-Egba bound train.
Explaining further the source added that some motorists and commuters around tried to avert the tragedy by stopping the tricycle driver from crossing the railway line, because of how close the train was.
But a quick attempt to beat the train got the tricycle trapped under the moving train and killed the four occupants of the tricycle.
The remains of the victims which littered the train track, caused serious gridlock in the area as many were seen trooping to the accident spot to have a glimpse of the victims
