Buhari breaks Ramadan fast with Osinbajo, Emefiele, others.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, played host to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, service chiefs, security agencies and cabinet ministers at the Aso Villa in Abuja.
The guests were treated to a fast-breaking meal at a dinner which held a few days after the president hosted the National Leader of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed, at the presidential villa, Abuja, to break the Ramadan fast together.
Some heads of federal government agencies and institutions also joined the president for the dinner, better known as Iftar
Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, Yakubu Ibn Muhammed, and the Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Abdullahi Mukhtar, were among the dignitaries at the event.
The CBN governor had earlier met behind closed doors with the president at the presidential villa.
The president is expected to spend some days of the Ramadan hosting political, traditional and religious leaders as well as other prominent and ordinary citizens to break the Ramadan fast at the villa.
