Miyetti Allah Leader Shot Dead In Adamawa State

The zonal Vice Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria [MACBAN], Adamawa South, Saidu Kolaku, has been shot dead by alleged gunmen.

According to reports, Kolaku was shot by unknown gunmen who stormed his residence at Sabon Pegi in the Mayo Balwa Local Government Area [LGA] of Adamawa State.

"Unknown gunmen stormed the resident of the Fulani leader located at Sabon Pegi in Mayo Belwa local government, shot him and left him in the pool of his blood,” the reports read.

“Following the incident, a distress call was forwarded to the police who rushed to the scene and took the victim to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.”

The Adamawa State Police Commissioner, through Sulaimon Nguroje, announced that he had ordered the dispatch of police officers in the homicide department to commence investigations into the murder.

“Indeed, police received the death of the slain man with shock because of his invaluable contribution towards fighting crime and criminality, especially his gallantry in the fight against kidnappers.

“The command has launched a manhunt for the fleeing culprits, and God willing, they will be tracked down and brought to justice,” Nguroje stated.

Kolaku died from the gunshot wounds he sustained. The manhunt for the culprits is still ongoing, as the police have vowed to apprehend all responsible for the death of Kolaku
