Atiku loses to President Buhari again at the Supreme Court.
The appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was on Tuesday struck out by the Supreme Court.
During the hearing, the five-man panel led by Justice Datijo Mohammed shut down the appeal, saying it has become statue barred.
The appeal was filed after the Presidential Election Petition Court delivered its judgement in favour of the ruling party candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari.
The tribunal, in its ruling, held that Atiku and the PDP do not have a reply to an application filed on May 14, 2019, by the All Progressives Congress (APC) seeking among other things, the dismissal of their (Atiku and the PDP) charge against President Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at the last presidential election.
The former Vice President, who is yet to release a statement towards the apex court ruling, is still consulting on the next line of action.
