MC Oluomo emerges Chairman of Lagos NURTW.
Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, emerged Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers on Tuesday.
Akinsanya, a close associate of the National Leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, won the coveted seat with the 90 percent of the 100 support needed to win the election against fierce opposition from the outgoing chairman, Tajuedeen Agbede.
While Agbede emerged the Vice President of the union at the national level, MC Oluomo defeated Agbede’s successor to handle the Lagos chapter of the body.
Checks have confirmed that Tinubu was instrumental to the victory of Akinsanya, taking over as the next chairman of the group in Lagos.
