The first batch of Nigerians fleeing the recent wave of Xenophobic attacks in South Africa, touched down at the Muritala Muhammad International airport on Wednesday, September 11, 2019
The CEO of Nigerian Airliner, Air Peace; Mr. Allen Onyeama was on ground to welcome returnees.
Recall that before the Executive decision form President Buhari to repatriate Nigerians, Air Peace offered to bring willing Nigerians home free of charge.
At the moment, the indigenous airline is being hailed as patriotic for its altruism. The next batch of Nigerians citizens are expected to arrive Muritala Muhammad International Airport today.
