Lagos Socialite, SOB Babalola, Is Dead

Lagos socialite and leader of one of Nigeria’s Islamic movements, Ummah, of the South West chapter, Alhaji SOB Babalola, is dead.

The respected Muslim cleric passed on during the week at the age of 87 in Lagos.

Details surrounding his death were yet to be revealed as at the time of filing this report but a dependable family source revealed that he died after a brief illness.

Until his death, he was a lover of young Nigerians and he empowered many economically.

An industrialist of great repute, he was a strong believer in hard work, dignity, and honesty.

He was also a disciplinarian of no small measure.

His close billionaire industrialist friends, including Alhaji Rasaq Okoya and Samuel Adedoyin, are said to be in mourning over the loss of one their friends.

Bimbo Babalola, one of the kids of the deceased, took to her Instagram page to break the news. She expressed sorrow over the demise of her dad.
