21 Boko Haram Drug Suppliers Arrested In Jalingo

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested 21 men for supplying drugs to Boko Haram in Jalingo.

The Head of Public Affairs for the agency, John Achema, made this disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in the federal capital territory, Abuja.

Achema narrated how the suspects, who carried out a discreet operation for the deadliest terrorist group in Africa, were arrested during a sting operation by the anti-narcotics operatives of the agency.

He added that 229.6kg of hard drugs and other psychotropic substances were recovered. The drugs were said to be enhancing drugs meant for members of Boko Haram. The hard drugs recovered were 239.9kg of cannabis Sativa, 274 bottles of codeine syrup and 59.7kg psychotropic substances

You will recall that over seven commanders of the terrorist sect, which has claimed over 10,000 lives in its last decade of terror, were recently apprehended and now 21 drug suppliers have been nabbed.
