The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has revealed that his administration is determined to improve the living conditions of Ogun State indigenes.
This revelation was made by the Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, while representing the governor at a special thanksgiving held to commemorate the Independence Day celebration at the Cathedral of St.Peter, Ake, Abeokuta.
He further revealed that his excellency will do everything in his capacity to ensure an improvement in the standard of living of Ogun State residents.
The governor stated that he was renovating and rehabilitating state-owned hospitals and equiping them with modern facilities. He gave the assurance that he had ordered the Commissioner of Health to employ more doctors and other health practitioners.
Governor Dapo also claimed that since his administration came into power in May 2019, he had given out interest-free loans to women, worked on road construction projects and brought hope and comfort to the indigenes residing in the state.
The Bishop of Ijebu South West Diocese, Rt. Babatunde Ogunbanwo, who was the spiritual father of the day quoted a bible verse and also advised Nigerians to do away with evil, selfishness and embrace righteousness.
The Man of God prayed for the country and prayed for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Abiodun, traditional leaders as well as the political leaders in the state.
