This is not a list many would like their countries to be in. According to a survey done by InterNations, Nigeria has been named the third most dangerous place in the world.
The 'InterNation' group broke the internet with a list of the most dangerous countries to live in. The International group ranked Brazil top of the list of the most dangerous places to live in.
While in the African continent, South Africa followed closely in second place and Nigeria took the third spot.
Mr Malte Zeeck, founder and co-CEO of InterNations, informed news media that the top three countries in the list were also poorly rated by all travel agencies in the world as the worst destination where the personal safety of travellers could be in jeopardy.
According to Malte Zeeck:
"Brazil, South Africa and Nigeria - the bottom three countries in the safety and security subcategory - are also the three worst-rated destinations for personal safety in particular.”
2. South Africa
Two African countries, two South-American countries and one Asian country, make up the top five list of the most dangerous places to live in, in the world.
As a result of Boko Haram terrorism, herdsmen killings, civil and political unrest, Nigeria has become a hot zone.
When you throw in the unchecked rate of crime, it is understandable why Nigeria is currently in the third place of dangerous places in the world.
