Two sales representatives, Uche Ezeigbo, 24, and Chika Onwuka, 29, have been arraigned in an Ikeja Chief Magistrates' Court for stealing adult pampers and mersilene tapes worth 20 million naira.
The defendants were charged with three counts of conspiracy, breach of peace and theft. They, however, pleaded not guilty to those charges.
The prosecutor, Inspector Aondohemba Koti, informed the court that the defendants who allegedly conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace, stole adult pampers and mersilene tapes, valued at N20 million, from the house of the complainant, Mrs Chima Okeke.
Inspector Koti stated in the presence of the court that the defendants had committed the crime on June 27, 2016, at No. 44 Moshalashi Street, Mushin, Lagos, with some other guys who are still at large.
Adult pampers are absorbing pants worn by mostly diabetic patients and old people who can no longer control their bladders.
