Sanwo-Olu To Relocate Trade Fair To Permanent Site

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor, on Tuesday said the government would relocate the Lagos International Trade Fair to a permanent site in the nearest future.

The governor made the declaration when he visited the venue to flag off the 2019 edition, holding at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.

Thousands of local and foreign exhibitors are expected to participate in the ongoing 33rd edition of the fair, themed: “Connecting Businesses, Creating Value.”

“I am here on the spot assessment and going round few of the pavilions at the trade fair.

“As you can see, I have to come in here to encourage our MSMEs that are on display. This is real governance and collaborative initiative. This is an annual event, but we need to upscale it,” Sanwo-Olu said.

The governor also commended the LCCI for keeping faith with MSMEs, adding that it shows the can-do spirit of Nigeria.

The 10-day event ends on Sunday, November 10.
