At least two people died while six others were confirmed injured in a fire accident on Thursday night.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) authorities said the fire accident involved a petrol tanker and 17 other vehicles which were burnt at Bible College Bus-Stop along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
FRSC revealed that the accident occurred around 11:55 pm on Thursday when a tanker fell and spilled its content into a drainage by the roadside, which ignited the fire that burnt many vehicles.
FRSC spokesman, Mr Ganiyu, said the driver lost control which made the truck overturn, adding that seven fire-fighting trucks from Ogun and Lagos were timely mobilized to the scene
According to an Official of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Mr Adekunle Ajibade, the petrol truck was heading to Lagos from Sango-Ota when it developed a gear fault and overturned in the process.
