Professor Is-haq Oloyede, the registrar of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has been nominated for the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) award.

Senator Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour and Employment, on behalf of the federal government, delivered the nomination letter to the professor a few days ago.

“The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the conferment of the National Productivity Order of Merit Award on you in recognition of your high productivity, hard work and excellence.”

“His diverse innovations, transparency and the deployment of ICT in the fight against corruption and other unwholesome acts have given fresh impetus to the fight against financial, administrative and examination malfeasance in the country.

“His full disclosure of income and expenditure weekly in the board’s bulletin has not gone unnoticed by anti-corruption crusaders,” the bulletin said.
