Rev Babatunde Ogunbanwo, a Bishop of the diocese of Ijebu south-west Anglican Commission, in support of the newly established security operatives, warned against sycophants.
The Bishop made the comment while speaking at a news conference on the commemoration of the 10th inauguration anniversary of the diocese which took place at the Bishop’s Court, Odogbolu, Ogun State.
He explained how dangerous insecurity is, and asked President Muhammadu Buhari to turn a deaf ear to the opposers of the operation.
Ogunbanwo told the governors to beware of sycophants who may want to hijack the idea for selfish purposes.
Speaking against the gap between the rich and the poor, he mentioned that the 'senator' title has caused a lot of havoc and that laws should be promulgated against the oppression of that title
He urged all to look up to God for the ultimate solution.
“It is only God that can salvage the situation as it is evidenced that things are not working the way Nigerians had hoped.” He said
